Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics

The Google combination: Google Tag Manger, which allows you to easily embed code snippets without having to change the source code. Google Analytics, the tracking tool to measure the activity of your visitors. Both are also used so you can measure conversions in GoogleAds.

The app is compatible with Google Analytics 3 and 4. Please note: Conversion tracking only works if Analytics and Google Tag Manager are running through this app.

What settings do I need?
To connect you need the Google Analytics Mess ID and the GTM Container ID:

GTM Container ID
Log in to Google Tag Manager with your Google account. Once you are logged into Tag Manager, you will find your Google Tag Manager Container ID in the dashboard:

Log in to Google Analytics with your Google account. Once you are logged in go to the menu item "Administration":



Go to the Data Streams menu item:



Click on the data stream:



There you will find the Google Analytics measurement ID:




Paste the measurement ID at "Google Analytics measurement ID". Also add the container ID from Google Tag Manager and save the settings:

Activate the conversion tracking:

What data is needed?
You need the Conversion ID and the Conversion Label to set up the conversion tracking:

Where can I find the Conversion ID and Conversion Label?
Go to "Conversions" in Google Ads under "Tools and Settings":

Click on "Use Google Tag Manager" in "Tag Setup":



Copy the Conversion ID and Conversion Label and paste it into the saldiaApp:
